Animal nutrition
Simple observation suggests that the animal kingdom is dependent on plants for food. Even meat-eaters, or carnivores, eat animals such as lions, and grazing animals and thus indirectly depend on the plant kingdom for their survival.
Human Nutrition
It is concerned with the provision of essential nutrients in food that are necessary to support human life and good health. Weak nutrition is a chronic problem often associated with poverty, food security or poor understanding of nutritional needs. Malnutrition and its consequences are major contributors to worldwide deaths, physical deformities and disabilities. Good nutrition is necessary for children physically and mentally and for normal human biological development.
